General Sizing Guide

How to measure your child's feet:

  • Whilst your child is standing place his/her feet on a sheet of paper. Ensure they are equally weighted on each foot
  • Draw a mark at your child's heel and longest toe while he/she has foot and toes flat.
  • Measure the length between the markings which will give you the foot length
  • Always allow for approximately 1cm -1.5cm extra onto to the measurement of your child's feet compared to the insole/inside length of a shoe (about the width of your thumb from the big toe to the end of the shoe) for your child's foot to grow. (For some brands we have included the a recommended foot length as a guide)
  • Measure often - children's feet grow quickly. Measure at least every 2 months during the first year, and every 3 months from 1 - 3 years. You never can tell when your child will have a growth spurt!
  • If in doubt order the next size, as your child can always grow into the shoe.
